Cafe H, Anna Nagar (Home Delivery)

Few weeks back, I was looking for home delivery options for dinner around Anna Nagar and the name “Cafe H” caught my eye as I was noticing it for the first time.

I quickly glanced through the menu and ordered for a Chilli Cheese Garlic Toast and Four Country Cheese Pizza.

Chilli Cheese Garlic Toast: This was pretty nice really, with the spicy flavor settling into it. Cheese flavor was rich and overall, for Rs. 80, this was total VFM.

Four Country Cheese Pizza: Sadly though, this was average at best. Priced at Rs. 270 for a small portion (with Jalapeno and Olives toppings extra), this was such a let down, especially after the expectations set by Chilli Cheese Garlic Toast.

The amount of cheese for cheese pizza was less to be honest, and I honestly felt it wasn’t worth more than half that price.

Update : Got a call from the MC’s Lunchbox team, assuring me that they’ll be taking corrective action on this issue and will keep training sessions for their delivery folks (who, it appears, are outsourced) to ensure this doesn’t happen. Kebab Corner, Greams Road

This is somewhat an old review, so I’ll keep it as short as possible. My friend Asif and I went here on a rainy day, straight from office, as he was craving for Kebabs, and wanted to have the best Kebab that he can get in Chennai that night. I checked Zomato, and found this place rated quite high. Though it was a fair distance away from our usual route, we decided to make the trip and we were glad we did. I ordered Malai Paneer tikka, while he went for a Chicken kebab. While I found the Malai paneer tikka decent, it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. Foodie 2015 - Year in Review

Foodie 2015 A fellow foodie buddy of mine Rajiv Shankar started a discussion on reviewing last year from our foodie perspective.
